Truth may divide

Turning the sin of homosexuality into just another harmless human practice will not alter it in God’s eyes. If we love those who have made this lifestyle choice, we will lovingly admonish them to forsake this path. Is it easy? No, but with God’s help it can be done. For those who stress unity, remember: We forsake scriptural teachings for the sake of human unity at our peril. Better divided by truth than united in error. I pray we would search Scripture for wisdom.

    I agree.

Very well said, Forest Hazel. Jude 1 predicted the apostasy that we are now seeing. We are also seeing that Christians who desire to hold to God’s standards in the church are the ones accused of being divisive. But verse 19 reminds us that it is those who walk according to their own lusts who cause the divisions because they do not have the Spirit.
