I am so thankful for the Jan. 7 column by Richard Showalter  (“Ethiopia’s Astounding Leader”) describing the peaceful path practiced by the newly elected “Jesus-centered” prime minister of Ethiopia. Showalter encourages us to pray with our African brothers and sisters that Ahmad may continue his announced policy of peace, love and unity for the nation and its relationships with the rest of the world. May we all join in this prayer. God is continuing his work in Ethiopia.
